MEG Regeneration
2026-06-01Traffic:
Monoethylene glycol (MEG) is injected into subsea gas pipelines as a hydrate inhibitor and must be continuously regenerated for reuse. JOECHRE filters are installed in MEG regeneration units to remove scaling compounds, corrosion particles, and salts such as CaCO₃, Mg(OH)₂, and FeS. These filtration systems handle wide variations in rich MEG composition and solid load while maintaining stable performance. The ability to wash the filter cake ensures minimal MEG loss, supporting efficient recovery and reducing chemical demand in upstream oil and gas operations.
