Gas Sweetening

Amine-based gas treatment systems rely on solvent recirculation loops to remove H₂S and CO₂ from sour gas. Over time, contaminants such as iron sulfide, degradation byproducts, and corrosion particles accumulate, causing foaming, corrosion, and reduced absorption efficiency. JOECHRE filtration systems are used to clean lean amine streams via a 10–20% slipstream, effectively capturing these fine solids. The enclosed, self-cleaning filters operate with optional precoat and dry cake discharge, minimizing solvent loss, water use, and operating cost, especially valuable for remote or arid site locations.
